My Story

Being born and raised in Malaysia, I inherently have a love for all Asian foods, but I've spent half of my life in the United States and have learned to embrace its food culture. I love to travel and learn about every place's unique food practices. I combine my knowledge and understanding of Eastern and Western food and nutrition to help my clients reach their optimal health.

Like many of you, I’m a foodie, working mom, and a wife trying to juggle work, family, and wellness. I have worked in both in-patient and out-patient settings, but have found traditional education methods lack real life application strategies. Most people learn better with hands-on activities and my nutrition plans are based on realistic goals, personalized for child(ren) and family to succeed, one step at a time.

I also recently published a Baby Led Weaning guide and cookbook for parents and caregivers ready to embrace newer feeding techniques for starting babies on solid foods.

Fun Facts: I love to cook, travel and garden. I'm also multilingual — fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Malay — and have a wide knowledge of Asian food culture and beliefs. If you need a dietitian that understands your cultural food practices, I can be of help.
